I am unable to enable Biometric in the mobile app

Here’s a few common reasons why you may not be able to enable the biometric feature:

  1. The app is restricted from accessing the device’s biometrics API (e.g. work profile)
    If your device has a work profile installed, it may be restricting access to biometric features on your device. Unfortunately, that means our app will be blocked from enabling biometric support, so you will need to contact your admin or workplace to see what can be done.

  2. No biometrics hardware supported on the device
    If you have an older device without biometric support, this feature will not be available.

  3. No biometric data registered on the device (e.g. fingerprints, facial recognition data, iris data)
    If your device supports biometrics, but you haven’t set up your biometric data, you will need to do that first before you can use the biometrics feature.
