What is ‘Gold’ Status?

You will be prompted to transition your account to ‘Gold’ status at a certain transaction threshold.

 

The benefits: You will be able to fund your account with amounts greater than $10,000 and have the option to work with an Account Manager for wire deposit transactions. You will also have access to specific services, such as our OTC (Over-The-Counter) Trading Desk, to ensure you’re getting the most out of your Bitbuy experience. 

 

The application for Gold account status is automatically initiated when you request a transaction over a specific threshold (e.g. when you request to send/receive a wire transfer or a large e-transfer). At such time, you will be prompted to fill out a Bitbuy User Questionnaire, which should only take 2-3 minutes of your time. Once this step is completed our team will review the application. After your account has been approved by our team you will regain full access and account activity can resume.

 

Please note, during this review period you will be unable to do any transactions. This is a security measure and while only temporary, your application may take several business days to review.
